SOLUTION

Your own 5G, where the public network won’t go.

A private 5G network gives a site its own wireless — coverage, capacity and control a public carrier cannot guarantee inside a mine, across a field, through a factory or around a port. Faststream builds and deploys it as one package: radio, core, devices and the integration into what the site already runs.

Why a site runs its own 5G.

A private one is built for the site — its coverage, its devices, its rules.
HOW IT WORKS

Coverage you engineer, not coverage you are given.

A private 5G network is a full cellular network scoped to one site. It has its own radio units placed for the coverage the site needs, its own compact 5G core running on-premises so control and user traffic stay local, and its own devices — SIMs, routers, handhelds, sensors and vehicles — onboarded to it. Spectrum is licensed, shared or locally licensed depending on the region, and Faststream designs to what is available where the site is.

The result is wireless with guarantees. Traffic that matters — a control loop, a safety system, a video feed — gets dedicated capacity and deterministic latency through network slicing and local breakout, instead of competing with everyone else on a public cell. And because the core is on-site, the network keeps running when the outside link fails, and the data can stay on the premises where residency or sovereignty demands it.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What engineers ask before they call.

01

Do I need my own spectrum?

It depends on the region. Some markets offer local or shared licensing for private networks, others require licensed spectrum or a carrier partnership. We design the network to the spectrum available where the site is, rather than assuming one model.

02

Private 5G or Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi is excellent indoors and cheap, but it struggles with wide-area coverage, seamless mobility, deterministic latency and dense moving devices. Private 5G is the right tool where coverage has to span a yard, a field or a mine, where devices move and must not drop, and where latency and priority have to be guaranteed.

03

Does the data stay on-site?

It can. With an on-premises core and local breakout, user data and edge compute stay on the site — which matters for latency, for continuity when the outside link fails, and for data-residency or sovereignty requirements.
