No. Personal data is never sold, rented or traded, and is not shared outside Faststream Technologies except with the processors listed in this policy, who act on our instructions.

Faststream Technologies collects personal data in three situations: when you send a project inquiry, when you subscribe to engineering notes, and when you request a white paper. Nothing else on this site collects personal data by default, and none of it is sold, rented or shared with anyone outside Faststream Technologies.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
Commitments, stated plainly.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. There is no circumstance in which this happens.
- We do not share your details with partners, resellers or anyone else outside Faststream Technologies, except the processors listed below who act on our instructions.
- We do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this site.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent a project inquiry. The newsletter requires a separate, explicit opt-in.
- We do not run automated decision-making or profiling on anything collected here.
- We do not use dark patterns to obtain consent. Declining analytics is one click and it is the default.
PROCESSORS
Who else touches the data.
- Website and form hosting — the platform hosting this site receives form submissions and passes them to us.
- Email — our email provider transmits and stores correspondence.
- Newsletter delivery — the platform we use to send engineering notes holds subscriber addresses.
- Analytics, if you consent — an analytics provider processes page-view data.
- Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Data may be processed in the United States, the European Union and India, under appropriate transfer safeguards.
YOUR RIGHTS
What you can ask for.
- Access — a copy of what we hold about you.
- Rectification — correction of anything inaccurate.
- Erasure — deletion, subject to any legal retention we are bound by.
- Restriction — a pause on processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — your data in a machine-readable form.
- Objection — to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting what was lawful before.
- Complain — to your data protection authority, if we have not resolved it.

Email info@faststreamtech.com with what you want. We respond within thirty days and there is no charge. You do not need to explain why, and asking will not affect any commercial discussion in progress.
LAWFUL BASIS
Why we are allowed to hold it.
Project inquiries are processed on the basis of legitimate interests — you contacted a business to discuss work, and answering is the reason you did.
Newsletter subscriptions are processed on the basis of consent, which is why the box is unticked by default and why every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
White paper requests are processed on the basis of legitimate interests for sending the document, and consent for anything further.
Analytics are processed on the basis of consent, which is why nothing is collected until you accept.

Will sending a project inquiry add me to a marketing list?
No. The newsletter requires a separate, explicit opt-in with an unticked box. Sending an inquiry results in a reply from an engineer and nothing else.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
Email info@faststreamtech.com. We respond within thirty days, there is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.
