RESOURCES

Resources and Support

Documentation, datasheets, downloads and support, gathered in one place. Product datasheets and integration documentation are supplied on request rather than published, because they include configuration detail that is specific to a target and stale published versions cause more problems than they solve.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE

Four kinds of material.

SUPPORT

How support works by engagement type.

Support model
You haveSupport coversRoute
A licensed IP coreIntegration, simulation, hardware bring-up and issue resolution for the licence termNamed engineering contact from the licensing engagement
Hardware productsConfiguration, commissioning, firmware updates and replacementNamed engineering contact
A software framework licenceDeployment, integration, updates and issue resolutionNamed engineering contact
An active engagementEverything in scope, plus the programme owner as escalationProgramme owner
A completed engagementWarranty terms as contracted, plus lifecycle support where agreedOriginal programme contact, or info@faststreamtech.com
No engagement yetPre-sales technical discussioninfo@faststreamtech.com — answered by an engineer

There is no support ticket portal. Enquiries reach an engineer by email, which for the volume of customers Faststream has is faster than a queue.

EVALUATION

Trying something before committing.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What engineers ask before they call.

01

Where are the product datasheets?

Supplied on request rather than published. Name the part and your target node or platform, and it is sent with the maturity status — shipping, silicon-proven, FPGA-validated or reference design — stated honestly for that item.

02

Is there a support portal?

No. Enquiries reach an engineer by email at info@faststreamtech.com, which for the number of customers Faststream has is faster than a ticket queue. Active engagements have a named programme owner as escalation.

03

Can I evaluate an IP core before licensing it?

Interface documentation and integration guidance are available, and an evaluation deliverable where the core and licence terms permit. What is possible varies by core and is confirmed at enquiry.

04

What comes with an IP licence?

The core in the agreed deliverable form, integration documentation, verification collateral, and engineering support through integration and hardware bring-up, with long-term support appropriate to products with extended production lives.
