HOW SUBSCRIPTION WORKS
Double opt-in, and why.
Entering an address stores it as pending and sends one email with a confirmation link. Nothing further arrives until that link is clicked, and a pending record that is never confirmed is deleted after thirty days.
This exists because it protects you rather than us. It means nobody can subscribe your address, and it means the list contains only people who actually asked — which is why the unsubscribe rate stays near zero and why we can promise the frequency we do.
Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that is honoured immediately, not after a processing delay. Your address is stored, the consent date is stored, and a salted hash of your IP is stored as the consent record. The IP address itself is never retained.

Will my address be shared or sold?
No. It is never sold, rented or traded, and it is not shared outside Faststream Technologies except with the email delivery provider that sends the messages on our instructions.
How do I unsubscribe?
One click, in every email. It is honoured immediately. You can also email info@faststreamtech.com and ask for erasure, which removes the record entirely rather than marking it unsubscribed.
Can I read the articles without subscribing?
Yes. Everything in the Knowledge Center is open, and there is an RSS feed. The newsletter is a convenience, not a gate.
What exactly is stored?
Your email address, the subscription and confirmation dates, which page you subscribed from, and a salted hash of your IP address as evidence of consent. The IP address itself is not retained.
