Embedded Control Cabinet PC

Ruggedised cabinet-mount compute with extension capability, for installations where the control hardware lives inside an enclosure rather than on a panel. Supplied and integrated as part of automation deployments.

WHAT IT IS

The short version.

Not every control installation needs an operator interface at the machine. A great deal of industrial compute lives inside a cabinet, doing its work without anyone looking at it, and the requirements are correspondingly different: mounting that suits a DIN rail or a backplate, thermal behaviour in a sealed enclosure, and expansion capability for whatever the installation turns out to need.

Cabinet PCs cover that role, with extension slots for the I/O and communication cards a specific installation requires and a chassis designed for the vibration and temperature of a plant environment rather than an office.

Supplied and integrated by Faststream as part of automation deployments, in the same manner as the industrial PC and HMI ranges.

Maturity — silicon-proven, FPGA-validated or RTL stage — is confirmed at enquiry for the specific configuration you need, rather than claimed generically here.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Deliverables and support.

Next step

Send the target node, the interface requirements and the integration context. If this is not the right fit, that will be said early rather than discovered at integration.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions asked before an evaluation.

01

What is a control cabinet PC used for?

Industrial compute installed inside an enclosure rather than at an operator panel — running control logic, concentrating machine data, bridging plant networks or performing edge processing close to equipment.

02

Is this Faststream-designed hardware?

No. It is supplied and integrated as part of automation deployments, alongside the industrial PC and HMI ranges.
