Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Head Anchoring our IoT Solutions and Services to Transportation, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and/or Smart Manufacturing with a strong technical background in IoT ecosystem comprising IoT gateways, Embedded Systems, Cloud, Analytics, Sensors, MQTT/CoAP protocols, LoRa/Z-wave/Bluetooth, Wireless and more.. You’ll be one of the key team members responsible to maintain greater customer satisfaction. This position will be located in California.

 

Responsibilities

  • Should be responsible for hunting of IoT prospects for our products and services in North America, Europe, and APAC Market.
  • Uncover and foster high level influencers across many different types of organizations that would provide mutually beneficial business opportunities. Be focused on key targets and developing ideas for innovative initiatives that involve both sales and marketing. There will be complete integration and support from our Marketing department and collaboration with the partner sales team.
  • Collaborate with CEO and other members on major national initiatives that are relevant to market territory.
  • Develop and nurture high level relationships that translate into sales and marketing opportunities, new brand advocates, high profile product integrations, and alliance partnerships.
  • Target like-minded national brands based in market territory to collaborate on sales and marketing initiatives that elevate both brands.
  • Leverage existing collateral assets including existing brand advocates, PR relationships, Faststream products and services.
  • Collaborate with sales team and FaststreamMarketing department to fully leverage resources and lever up existing initiatives and strategies that touch market territory.
  • Focus on influential targets within the trade industry, media, celebrities, and like-minded/luxury brands within market territory.
  • Entertain and frequently attend high profile lifestyle and industry events to become the local face of Faststream.
  • Get involved with high level and appropriate community and trade associations, clubs and any other organization that may uncover new relationships.
  • Comfortable socializing and conducting business with a myriad of personalities and up to C-level business people.
  • Organize and continue to nurture relationships and initiatives with high attention to detail and organization.
  • Represent the Faststream brand and everything it stands for including our culture and rich heritage.
  • This position manages key accounts and is also responsible for business development for any new accounts. This position works proactively with other BU team members, such as other BD team members, Marketing, Project Management, Technical Groups and Operations to assure objectives and goals are achieved.
  • Develop plans and programs for existing accounts in his/her geography to gain market share in process development and API manufacturing services.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to gain new business
  • Achieve sales revenue targets for key accounts and new accounts.
  • Record progress of BD activities and provide regular updates to management.
  • Work closely with business units, project management team and marketing to ensure coordination of efforts and good communication with all parties. Help set up BU visit and stay involved when customers visit.
  • Collects and utilizes various data sources provide competitive intelligence, tracking and analysis of the competitive landscape in assigned segment.
  • Driving and maximizing revenues through new business development, up-selling of services to new and existing clients
  • Work closely with the marketing team and take advantage of their different programs to maximize new opportunities, develop existing opportunities, and solidify customer relationships.
  • Manage existing accounts for satisfaction, return on their investment, growth, and renewal.
  • Manage complex sales cycle, including mapping out of sophisticated accounts, development of high level relationships, planning and executing sophisticated account strategies, and development of business cases.
  • Collaborate, share your account knowledge, learnings, and best practices to help your teammates
  • Maintaining highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work along with a Faststream technical team on several exciting initiatives

 

Qualification

  • B.S/M.S in Electronics and Communication Engineering, preferably with MBA
  • Demonstrated experience selling ability to manage a complex sales cycle with significant business and technical components in the Semiconductor services domain.
  • The ability to develop and present a meaningful ROI presentation to help customer justifying the cost of investment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quotas selling a technical solution to a technical audience
  • Experience using common sales and business tools: Salesforce.com, Linked In Sales Navigator,Microsoft Office suite, etc.
  • Lead generation and Business Development.
  • Smart, creative, energetic, conscientious, and enthusiastic persona with strong problem solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and results oriented.
  • 15 to 20 years of Business development experience in IoT, Embedded, Cloud solutions & services, well versed with IoT protocols, IoT happenings.
