Job description

  • Faststream is seeking an experienced senior business development manager for the IoT and industrial IoT business footprints. This role is responsible for developing the IoT vertical and business strategy at Faststream. This individual must build strong relationships between external and internal partners to develop the strategic alliances required to grow the Faststream market share.
  • The senior business development manager needs to be well-versed in typical IoT markets and have prior expertise in the IoT sector. A plus is having experience creating strategic alliances with top IoT cloud platform providers. A deeper comprehension of particular product use scenarios, motivated by evolving industry standards, the company’s move to cloud computing, and the company’s digital transformation.
  • Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop global strategic alliances essential for Faststream growth as a provider of IoT identity management solutions, aligned to Faststream IoT go-to-market strategy.
    • Partner with the Faststream Cloud and Marketplace organization to continue to develop the Faststream offering along with leading IoT cloud platform providers, such as Microsoft Azure IoT.
    • Grow existing IoT strategic alliances to accelerate Faststream pipeline and revenue impact.
    • Aligned with Faststream sales directors, participating in customer conversations around IoT solution offerings leveraging Faststream solutions.
    • Support global sales team with context and enablement around IoT talk tracks relevant to specific Industry verticals.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to improve comprehensive messaging around how Faststream fits within the overall IoT security solution space.
    • Skills and Qualifications:

      • B.S/M.S in Electronics and Communication Engineering, preferably with MBA.
      • Demonstrated experience selling ability to manage a complex sales cycle with significant business and technical components in the IOT & Embedded domain.
      • The ability to develop and present a meaningful ROI presentation to help customer justifying the cost of investment.

      • Experience using common sales and business tools: Salesforce.com, Linked In Sales Navigator, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
      • Lead generation and Business Development.
      • Smart, creative, energetic, conscientious, and enthusiastic persona with strong problem solving skills.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills.
      • Good analytical and presentation skills.
      • Entrepreneurial and results oriented.
      • 8 years of Business development experience in IoT, Embedded, Cloud solutions & services, well versed with IoT protocols, IoT happenings.
