Job Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for architecture, design, development, and the successful implementation of shopping cart solutions through collaboration with online merchants and our sales teams.
  • Listens and effectively translates client needs and requirements into technical business solutions. Must be a “big picture” thinker.
  • Must have a basic understanding of web interface design and coding skills.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, or equivalent to make on-the-fly changes.
  • Experience with any of the following programming languages is a huge plus: Magento E-Commerce platforms/solutions, online retail, PHP, JavaScript, and web APIs (SOAP/REST).
  • Works in partnership with Sales and Management to design and promote the advantages of Magento web-based ordering to our customers including and not limited to conducting training, capabilities presentations, and pre-sale discovery meetings to win new business and assist in the conversion to the Website.
  • Works in partnership with Sales and Management to conduct consultative meetings on-site and remotely with customers regarding our electronic ordering solutions, listen to customers’ needs, and demonstrates how our solutions can address their issues and help them achieve their goals.
  • Fosters relationships between the customer, other external parties, and the various functional and geographic areas within our company including dev ops, marketing, finance, tech services, accounting, credit collections, info systems, and sales.
  • Assist and support large account customers with any web e-commerce, inventory management, and technical issues on-site and remote.
  • Investigates complex issues relating to clients, ordering systems, or inventory management issues and communicates pertinent information to applicable team members.
  • Comprehensive systems knowledge and cross-departmental disciplines, professional communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to varying levels of expertise, and the ability to learn and teach applicable computer systems.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and outstanding customer service skills will be needed to effectively execute the duties of this position.
  • The capacity to resolve issues timely and to quickly learn systems and procedures are necessary skills.
  • Great organizational and time management skills are required.

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms/solutions, online retail, Magento, PHP, JavaScript, SQL/MySQL, and web APIs (SOAP/REST).
  • Understanding of website development and management.
  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Ability to focus and deliver proactively in a dynamic, multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with the team.
  • Must have a keen attention to detail, be self-directed, understand the requirements, and take the initiative to complete tasks or assignments with little or no direction.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep track of numerous projects at once.
  • Experience with implementing and supporting e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
