Job Description

Faststream is looking for an experienced front-end (AngularJS) software developer to join our team, who is passionate about emerging tech. We are seeking someone with advanced web development experience as well as exposure to mobile application development.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must have a complete understanding of the overall project and demonstrate an ability to provide input and direction to team members across all disciplines.
• Candidates are expected to provide high-quality, well-structured, well-documented code and communicate effectively with client counterparts, creative leads, and other members of the development team.
• They will manage and lead technical team members, as well as mentor junior / mid-level developers by encouraging collaboration, participation, and creative thinking.

Required Experience / Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience using CSS, HTML5, Modular JavaScript, AngularJS, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Hands-on experience in digital and web development with AngularJS
• NodeJS experience or sound knowledge
• Experience with CSS utilities such as LESS, SASS, Twitter Bootstrap, and Compass
• Good understanding of UX and UI design best practices
• Developing Wireframes, site maps and process flows for site architecture
• 3+ years experience creating/consuming web services and data
• Should also possess database skills (preferably DB2, SQLServer) to design new or alter existing table structures to satisfy specifications and requirements
• Working experience with Agile methodologies would be useful
• Experience exposing internet websites on mobile devices, or comprehensive knowledge of mobile application development.

• Good problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development
• Must have a thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures
• Strong Architecture design skills
