IoT enabled Smart Parking solution –Making way for automated parking system

At Faststream, we accompany our clients in seeking an all-in-one Smart Parking system where data needs to be accurate and made available in real-time. Solution Highlights

LoRaWAN is designed for a wide range, low power communications. Smart City applications benefit from wireless battery operated things and secure bi-directional communication, mobility, and localization service.

The stages for a private network based on LoRaWAN communication protocol was set by our client. In order to give coverage to the smart cities project, LoRaWAN antennas were installed. Smart Parking nodes were installed. These devices were installed on the surface of the roadway on the parking areas for people with reduced mobility and delivery services. The Smart Parking sensor network is connected to the LoRaWAN private network which has been deployed and also built a specific infrastructure to allow the entity to keep sovereignty in the data from end to end. Data management displays show this real-time information and indicators of the use of car parking slots. Using REST API parking lot availability data can be shown to users in a mobile app using google map. This approach helps citizens to have more information and on-line data available.
