Job description
The job function involves board design of High-Speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design, prototyping for test and measurement instruments.
Key requirements:
- Experience in design & development of Analog, Digital mixed-signal boards.
- Responsible for the design and development of new products as well as the support and modification of existing products.
- Generate design and functional specifications, high-level design, select optimal components & vendors, and create schematics.
- Create and review layout, BOM, Gerber files and create testing plans for the designs.
- Must be strong in board bring up, testing, and debugging.
- Must have worked in at least one complete Hardware product life cycle.
- Support the team to develop and implement advanced embedded systems architectures for sensors
- Experience in Board Designing of embedded systems (CPUs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs)
- Take an active part in the hardware design of real-time embedded system architectures with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
- Identify their real-time processing needs and formulate system requirements HW/ SW integration execution (HW/ SW debugging)
- Circuit design and prototyping, schematic capture, and prototype bring – up Support the team with debugging, hardware/ software bug tracking, functional verification, and signal characterization
- Collaborating with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
- Defining signal conditioning architecture Component selection, library management, and PCB layout and routing in the startup phase.
- Provide documents and technical support to the contract. manufacturers and production department to enable mass production.
- High level of communication skills and a social and open-minded approach.
- Manage prototype builds with contract manufacturers.
- Prior knowledge of IoT, DisplayPort, USB, HDMI board design would be preferable.
