Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

• Developing services and APIs to be consumed by multiple clients.
• Developing interfaces for a rich JavaScript web application.
• Working with your development team to define tasks and test plans.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of business-critical web/mobile applications.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Solid expertise with the following languages: C#, JavaScript, SQL.
• Experience with the following platforms is highly desired: ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI, RESTful API, SQL Server (or other relational database platforms), and WCF (or other SOA implementations).
• Fair experience with JavaScript libraries/Frameworks such as Node.js, Knockout.js, Backbone.js, or AngularJS.
• Comfort with CSS/CSS3 and other design-related constructs.
• Familiarity with scalable, multi-threaded backend services.
• 7+ years of proven experience developing solutions primarily targeting the web and mobile-based technologies.
• Passion, creativity, and a burning desire to ship code.
• An obsession with learning new things.
• A willingness to test your code and an understanding of why that is important.
• Bravery, boldness, and a fearless attitude toward changing the norms in their environment.
• A drive to assist teammates less experienced than themselves, and learn from those more senior.
• Unafraid to be challenged and relish investing time in training, both formally and informally.
